Some Bible facts about the church that Jesus Christ built

"...and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." -- (Matthew 16:18)

Brief Explanation

Jesus died for His church, the bride of Christ. (Ephesians 5:25-33) but men through the addition of man-made doctrines and creeds (Matthew 15:9) have created the divided religious world of our day.

However, you should know that it is still possible today to be a member of the church that Jesus built.

By doing what people did almost 2000 years ago. -- (Acts 2:36-47).
Without being in any denomination. -- (Acts 2:47; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

You should know that, in Bible times, the church is called --

The temple of God. -- (1 Corinthians 3:16)
The bride of Christ. -- (Ephesians 5:22-32)
The body of Christ. -- (Colossians 1:18,24; Ephesians 1:22-23)
The kingdom of God's son. -- ((Colossians 1:13)
The house of God. -- (1 Timothy 3:15)
The church of God. -- (1 Corinthians 1:2)
The church of the first-born. -- (Hebrews 12:23)
The church of the Lord. -- (Acts 20:28)
The churches of Christ. -- (Romans 16:16)

You should know that the church is --

Built by Jesus Christ. -- (Matthew 16:13-18)
Purchased by the blood of Christ. -- (Acts 20:28)

Added saved people to the church. -- (Acts 2:47)

You should know that man did not --
